Private online Spanish lessons for executives and professionals

Who says that learning Spanish has to be boring?

One-on-one lessons with a native teacher from Antigua Guatemala, built around the Spanish you actually need at work: meetings, teams in Latin America and Spain, and the conversations that happen after the meeting. Teaching professionals since 2010.

How it works

Private Spanish lessons that fit a full calendar

Every lesson is one-on-one, 50 minutes, by video call. You choose the days; I build each lesson around your goal and your level.

Weekdays, 10 am – 7 pm US Eastern · 7 am – 4 pm Pacific · afternoons and evenings in Europe.

  1. Tell me what Spanish is for

A new market, a team you now lead, a move to Latin America, an interview, or simply a language you always wanted. Tell me your level and your goal, and I will tell you how we get there.

  2. Book your week

Lessons are paid per week or per month, before they start. Need to move one? Give me 48 hours and we reschedule.

  3. Speak Spanish from the first lesson

We are a team. I guide you through vocabulary, verbs, pronunciation and the grammar you need, and we use what you work with every day: your meetings, your emails, the news in your industry.

Pricing

Meet Amalia

¡Hola! I am Amalia.

I have taught Spanish as a second language since 2010, to more than 500 students from the United States and Europe. I am certified by Rafael Landívar University of Guatemala and I studied international relations at the University of San Carlos.

Most of my students become friends. I have friends in many parts of the world because of these lessons, and that is still my favorite part of the job.

Antigua Guatemala

I teach from Antigua, Guatemala, a city known around the world for its personalized Spanish instruction. My accent is neutral and clear, which matters when you need to be understood in a meeting in Mexico City, a call with Madrid or a dinner in Bogotá.

Proyecto Sonrisas

All children need love, kindness and a real chance to develop.

Proyecto Sonrisas is the organization I founded to improve the education of children in Guatemala. Since 2015 our focus is the community of Las Delicias, in the south of the country. Part of what I earn teaching goes there, and so can your support.
